Sabine Lake has turned on and the latest front has the fish biting. Several
trips this week have yielded some very good stringers of fish. Trout to 5lbs.
are busting topwaters at the jetties. The flounder run has started and some
good solid flounder are being caught on live shad. The redfishing has been
great with every party limiting out during the week on Limetruse
Bassassassins. The birds have worked off and on but not real strong. This
next front is the strongest early front we have had in years and when it
settles out the fishing will only get better.
