( Sourious Pussious)

Commonly Known as Lemon Shark

Another bad boy of the Gulf waters, this perticular shark is also known to be a man eater. Getting his name from his distinct coloration of a yellow tint, This jaundice shark is the only Texas species that has the combination of short, rounded snout; both dorsal bins almost of equal lengths, and straight symemetrical teeth, which I'm sure makes his dentist proud...

Growing to lengths of over 10 feet, the lemon shark is not only very pretty, and the meat is good to eat...Habitats like the Tigers are just about anywhere they want to roam. With just about the same feeding habits, mostly fish and crustaceans with the occasional human thrown in for those special nights on the town, just kiddin.

Best fishing is during the warmer summer months. Best baits tend to be large fish or chunks of cut bait.. Though not a much sought after species for the dinner table, their meat is edible. Best bet is too enjoy the fight and release him back to his domain, without pissing him off too much...
